Hm, did Data::Random got deleted from #CPAN? I have some failing build pipelines and metacpan does not list it anymore, only some dependencies. #Perl Anybody knows who can investigate this?

Here it is on backpan: https://backpan.perl.org/authors/id/B/BA/BAREFOOT/

But not listed here: https://metacpan.org/author/BAREFOOT and cannot be found/installed...

Index of /authors/id/B/BA/BAREFOOT

@domm additional weird:

$ cpanm --info Data::Random BAREFOOT/Data-Random-0.15.tar.gzbut a local copy of 02packages.details.txt from January lists 0.14 as current

so… accidental release, followed by hasty deletion, and the indexer got confused?

@metacpan ^^ any idea what happened to Data::Random?
@domm https://www.cpan.org/authors/id/B/BA/BAREFOOT/ has versions up to 0.14, but the index in 02packages.details.txt.gz lists 0.15. If you temporarily pin your dependency to 0.14 I expect things will work until the problem can be de-problemed.

@DrHyde Thanks, pinning works! That's a good enough fix for now (so I can go back to my unregularly scheduled fixing of mail servers being blocked...)
