Die unwirtliche Insel Bouvet liegt übrigens etwa auf 54° Süd.

Zum Vergleich: Auf 54° Nord liegt beispielsweise Kiel.

Das gibt einem einen guten Eindruck davon, wie stark das Klima von Landflächen und Meeresströmungen wie dem Golfstrom abhängt.

Der AIS-Tracker zeigt leider "für lau" nur die terrestrischen Daten an. Für Satellit muss man ziemlich teuer zahlen. Das Schiff ist jedenfalls unterwegs und kommt der Insel näher, soweit ich das in einer kostenlosen Demo sehen konnte.
