Setting off at lunchtime for another round of #NotFlying #SwedenToWales

Money saving the priority this time, with day (£30) and night (£35) trains, a Flixbus (£20) through Denmark and a (free) short ferry hop. Then posh Eurostar Plus for under £50.

En route, there'll be #HummusRoulette but the culinary highlight is purportedly Germany's finest fish and chips. Where, you ask? Not saying. Yet.

Follow #GetMeToTheFish (on time) to find out.

@bestdeadends wow that sounds cheap! I feel like it would probably cost me that nearly that much to get from the Eurostar terminal back to my home in North Wales. Still #NotFlying tho. Hope the journey goes well!

Diolch!
Britain often manages to make travel more expensive than in other European countries. I got lucky though, with a £6 ticket for National Express from London to Cardiff.
Many of these fares aren't special, just the going rate for a Tuesday/Wednesday in early March.
@bestdeadends the National Express! Brings back memories. Hoping to travel to Europe by train this summer, must get planning...

If you actually want advice (I bet you have plenty of ideas), then feel free to ask.
#EuropeanRail is kind of what I do.
With a Flixbus and ferries sideline when it's quicker/easier than the train.
Also a lot of time for the folk at https://www.saillink.co.uk/
