I love open source. 7.5 inch, red, black, and white e-ink display with an esp32-c6 running #esphome pulling down my #selfhosted #nextcloud calendars, centralised in #homeassistant over an #openThread network. Case from printables and edited to fit my specific ESP32. Template adapted from a github repo I liked the look of. No cloud. Love it.
@megalodonosaurus could you post the details of the parts?
@anxiumer18539 I used a https://seengreat.com/product/345/esp32-c6-wireless-e-paper-controller-board-with-24p-fpc-micro-sd-slot and a https://seengreat.com/product/325/compatible-with-raspberry-pi-arduino-stm32-esp32-for-low-power-project but i have not been particularly impressed with the ESP32-C6 from seengreat, I made some earlier iterations with Seeed Studio ESP32-C6 Xiao which was much more stable (The seengreat ones seem to "bug out" for a few hours after writing data to it). I printed the case using this model: https://www.printables.com/model/1400457-school-timetable-with-epaper-display and later today I think I might link the code and everything together and post it on codeberg or something.
