@Plantwizard I was shocked when my little id app said it’s a native!
@pmonks If you have Trillium albidum and T. chloropetalum or T. kurabayashii growing near each other they can hybridize. Not sure what's native in your next of the woods. I've artificially created albidum x kurabayashii hybrids but none of my are that light pink color.
@Plantwizard My app said this was Trillium chloropetalum, and it was in a county park, albeit a fairly heavily disturbed part of it (lots of eucalypts etc.).
@pmonks I actually think all the sessile western trilliums might just be one species with several forms. I'd love to see someone do genetic analysis on them.
