@bazkie 👍
@alexlac51 @bazkie maybe you are supposed to play it like a silent banjo/ukelele, so as not to annoy the neighbours 😁
@vfrmedia @alexlac51 why would you not want to annoy the neighbors? 😇

@bazkie @alexlac51

or sit and play banjo mournfully like Bé Muller (who used to work for RCD / AT / RDI busting the pirate radio stations but was so good at his job they laid him off) - I saw him on YouTube once and congratulated him in Dutch on his banjo playing and that it was a better thing to be doing, which spooked him to such an extent he left YouTube for a good few months (like many others from AT/RDI he travels to UK for holiday as an "escape", thinking no one knows who they are, let alone understands Dutch 😁 )

@vfrmedia @alexlac51 lol rekt 🤩

@bazkie @alexlac51

latest thing Bé is up to is building string instruments from cigarboxes and other random bits of wood from his shed/workshop in Assen, so maybe he'd be able to make something from that chopping board 😁

@vfrmedia

I can always annoy my neighbours... just by being...😂

@bazkie

@alexlac51 Shake before use. Do not use after shaking
@alexlac51 Is that one of those chopping boards that are designed to be put up on the wall in a chain restaurant as a "quirky" display?

@HollieK72

it possibly was, but we did not buy it for that, it was bought to cut bread.... the instructions were behind a cardboard cover... heyho...😂

@alexlac51 That is one of the usual reasons why people buy chopping boards!

@HollieK72 @alexlac51 maybe it's meant for charcuterie & cheese board.

Remind me of sometging where people could pay to have random geek stuff send to them everymonth and one of the thing was a oven glove like thanos, except it wasn't heat resistant at all. Grabbing hot plate from the oven with it resulted in melted plastic in your hand.

@alexlac51 To be honest, it makes perfect sense because if you're going to chop food on your soft furnishings, you can't expect them to be in a re-saleable condition when you complain about 'damage'!🤣
@alexlac51 Sums up Dunelm in a nutshell. 🤨
@alexlac51 sounds like those swimming suits that say they're not supposed to get wet.
@sol_hsa @alexlac51 Imagine the chaos if you decide to sweat in it.
@alexlac51 When covid hit, me and the others at the factory went into our supply room to see if our dust masks were good enough to prevent sickness

"NOT FOR COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL USE. NOT FOR USE IN AREAS WITH HIGH CONCENTRATIONS OF DUST."
@psilonaut @alexlac51 I just bought a CO2 and dust meter that the instructions say is not to be used in dusty areas.

@psilonaut

must have been bought through one of the UK #Tory contracts...😂 😂 👍

@duringju @alexlac51

"Please don't access the pool" = alright nerd

"It is forbidden to access the pool" = esoteric knowledge awaits

@alexlac51 pleonasm : chinese crap
@alexlac51 Hilarious. If not to be used as a chopping block, why do you need it? LOL
@alexlac51 But having analysed the situation extensively and exercised copious critical thought, you're just using it as a chopping board, right?

@ISawTheWood

when bought, it had a cardboard band round it when I called the store, they said it was for (Soft Furnishings Dept) so was never meant to be a chopping board... work that one out... now binned...

@alexlac51 @ISawTheWood worth trying to get a refund due to it not being fit for the purpose that it was bought?
@alexlac51 ceci n'est pas un chopping board
@alexlac51
That’s kwality with a K.
@alexlac51 Instead, let it choose to be a chopping board of its own volition.
@alexlac51 Let it be less a chopping board than an employee and benefits retention board.

@alexlac51 it's the ultimate fool-proof legal disclaimer!

Forbid the use of your product for its fundamental function, and thus all outcomes, (incl any failures) are clearly the owner's fault, leaving you without liability. Case closed.

@alexlac51 "wood" "chopping board"

there, I fixed it.

I wonder what kind of heavy metal it was made with.

@alexlac51 @Barbramon1

What if it gets dirty? Should I wipe it then? or only when it’s clean?

@Chancerubbage

it never got the chance to get dirty... it was binned...

@Barbramon1

@alexlac51 Minor typo. First C was meant to be an S.

Purpose is to carry your groceries home while balancing it on your head.

@moranaga

are you SSS Shure...

@alexlac51 Not really. I never know how to choose between SM57 and SM58 ... ^^

@moranaga

how about SM57.5

@alexlac51 Good idea! It might bridge this ridiculous gap between the two. Let me talk to the engineers at Shu...

Oh. Wait. I see what you've done here.
