SUMUD follows Dr. Melin at Nasser Hospital in Gaza as he works alongside Palestinian surgical teams who continue caring for patients and training under siege. The film also includes commentary from Omar El Akkad, Egyptian-Canadian journalist and author of One Day, Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This.

Dr.ナダール(DAG主催者のひとり)：Dr.アブサフィーヤの家族からの連絡によると彼の状況はさらに悪化していて、命の危険が迫っている。接見した弁護士によると1か月ほど前から地下牢に入れられ、昼も夜も分からないし、時間の感覚もない。ラマダンであることも知らされていない。
