Welp, finished Watch Dogs 2 some minutes ago, for the third time now.
1st playthrough was back in June 2022 and I think I played on normal diff. I played the game A MONTH after manually installing Arch Linux lol, which is still the same install I use right now.
I only had a Ryzen 3 1300X, a GTX 1050 Ti and 16 gigs of RAM. I was also streaming on Twitch that and at the time. I really wanted to see Ultra Textures back then.

2nd playthrough was back in August 2023. I used a 13 year old laptop (now 16) as a dedicated streaming machine because I was also running PiHole, OPNsense and also SearXNG, Libreddit (which is replaced by redlib), and Invidious on the same gaming rig, still with same specs, all of it in a vm.
I was still finding a suitable, reasonably powered device to run them all but yeah. Times were hard, kinda.

Third playthrough was obviously this week. Idk. It's funny looking back at it cos most of what's in the game has gotten even more "accurate" ? In a bad way.
It's gotten even more relevant than before.
The only thing it's definitely missing now is AI. Fucking AI everywhere. And short form content, brain rot, AI slop, etc.
AI wasn't really all that good at making things look good back in 2023. The will smith eating spaghetti showed how stupid the whole shit was.
But now, idk. Text gen models have gotten good over the few years. Even local ones. Text2img models too. Even image/text2video. But the cost is that memory and storage have gotten fucking expensive now.
