If that comes out as the truth, FIFA will be lauded forever. Leaders will be scared to be nominated for their Peace Prize. 🤔

@finestructure Our job here in the belly of the beast is to fight for regime change. We don't need to bring the war home (as the Weather Underground used to say) because it is already here!

Note that a real risk exists of the wars in Europe, the US, and the Middle East merging into a world war due to mutual intervention

@Reinald @BLTpizza @finestructure We'll see - the courts have been pretty good about holding the line. I admit, I'm trying to remain optimistic because it doesn't help anyone to assume the bad guys will always win.

I think the best thing Europe can do is just to focus on its own national elections and keep out the right-wing extremists. Good luck to us all. We've got travails ahead.
