Televisions began as spinning metal disks in the 1920s. Today they’re thinner than ever and sharper than reality.
But will television actually change in the next 100 years β€” or simply adapt, integrate into our walls, and quietly endure?

@ScottAWLewin Hello! Just saw your post about your site, and was intrigued! Your writing seems right up my alley, but seeing AI art on your page gives me second thoughts.

You describe Beneath Still Stars as "A character-driven science fiction novel about trust, loyalty, and the cost of doing what is right," so I would expect to see more of those ideals in your art. Real generative AI is a machine, built on theft, that creates only dross, and undermines human creativity, as well as the safety of our planet. I think, in our current moment, not using it is part of the cost of doing what's right.

@Mr_Briney Hello, and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I genuinely appreciate the concern, and I probably agree with you more than you might expect.

Writing is something that takes me months of work, and I care deeply about human creativity.

For images, I sometimes use AI-assisted tools, but always with significant direction and creative control. I treat them more like a digital tool or filter to help visualize ideas from my own story world rather than simply asking a system to create something on its own.

My goal is always to support the story and the ideas behind it, not replace the creative process. I also respect that people have different perspectives on these tools, and I appreciate you sharing yours.
