WTF? I was actually writing a fairly lengthy email when Outlook decided that I was signed out!
When I signed back in, there was no sign of my draft email at all. I'm seething a bit here.

@zl2tod @thrashcardiom I copped a lot of eye-rolling from colleagues two decades ago when I told them that MS "email" tools were unsupportable and broke standards. Even after they came to me in sheer panic after .pst files were irretrievably corrupted, they would go back to hitting that Exchange server like it was a crack pipe.

Thankfully my scars are old, but the pain persists.

Have had Outlook in browser timeout while actively typing
Have also had Windows 11 do a forced update on a fixed time while still interacting with it
Meh... this is one of the most evil things about modern Microslop
Si Dawson@aligorith @thrashcardiom Hard agree. On all counts. Forced to use outlook/teams for work. Both involve, typically, at least a "log in 3x" approach simply to get started.
