So let's engage in a bit of art theft!

Not because I ever plan to, but because I want you to be informed and understand how very much fucked we are from here on out! Hurray!

So I found this very nice Supergirl painting on Reddit. (First pic.) Is it a real painting? Is it AI? Who knows. But let's assume it's real for the sake of the scenario.

I'm Mr. Evil Guy, so I decide it's mine now.

I take a headshot of myself (because I painted it now, after all) and bring both images to #Flux2Klein: `This man sits in front of an easel with this canvas painting in front of him; he has a paint palette in his hand; ink on the palette reflects the colors in the painting; the man is holding a brush, making fine additions to the painting`.

I go though a couple generations to find one that looks the most convincing. Maybe I edit in a couple details, or remove some. Tweaks.

But now I have "proof" that I created it. Except, of course, it's completely fabricated. Took 5 minutes tops.

And this isn't on Gemini or ChatGPT or whatever. This is all done locally on personal hardware.

And I don't even know if that original pic is AI or not. 😭

WHAT FUN.

#aiart #disinformation #ai

And for bonus points we can amend `the painting is partially incomplete` to get an in-progress version of the painting. And it's the same guy!

(Man that version of "me" is WAY too flattering.)

@fortyseven nothing is real😭- and soon with video and sound too πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘
@rich Soon? There's a whole cottage industry of TikTok/Insta shorts of amazing animals -- but it's all relatively mundane. Guy with friendly lion, adorable kittens doing adorable shit. Nothing super red-flaggy. But they're completely fabricated. And they look legit. Just farming that interaction for views. (And yes, they all have audio.)

This isn't an example of the 'mundane, animal clickbait', but it's the same kind of tooling. Check out the reflection of the guy with the camera. Yikes.

@fortyseven yes I've seen a few of these - the little shake the cat does at the end too. When people aren't prompting "Steven Hawking fights the Rock in WWE" the results can be eerily mundane
@fortyseven as wicked as fun 😁
