My guess is that you'd need an old iPad which is unlocked so that you can sideload the IPA file to it to play. I did that for an unreleased iPad game (that had a demo release) to get screenshots once.

@gamesthatwerent yes, you would need an old iPad. I had it on an old iPhone, not sure if it could still be extracted. I think there was a PC build too that got passed around internally at work, but that is probably lost to time.
EDIT: I wonder if you could get it to run on an M1 Mac. A lot of ancient iOS software appears to run on my M1 Mac Mini.
