German satirical artist Jacques Tilly has been sued in Russia by Vladimir Putin for defaming the Russian state by making carnival sculptures in Germany — outside Putin's dystopian jurisdiction — so it would be a real shame, if that made us share his artworks and embarrass Putin even further.

@CryogenicIce9 I would, too, but you generally have to be a much more serious threat to the regime to face that threat. It's actually very costly and risky for them to do that, so it's a measure reserved only for the most serious threats -- turncoat spies, that kind of thing. An irritating artist probably doesn't rate. Also, Ptn is unwise, but he's not stupid. He knows that DIRECTLY attacking artists will only result in more artists attacking him, far more than he can go after.
