German satirical artist Jacques Tilly has been sued in Russia by Vladimir Putin for defaming the Russian state by making carnival sculptures in Germany — outside Putin's dystopian jurisdiction — so it would be a real shame, if that made us share his artworks and embarrass Putin even further.

@randahl I don't suppose Herr Tilly is planning on visiting Russia anytime soon though so I imagine he can rest easy.

@capnthommo I suppose Putin still has some novichok on hand, so he could offer Tilly some tea or a gift of perfume. But, I believe a foreign (to Russia) actor falls outside the group that Putin's twisted logic says "owe him loyalty". That would be anybody born in Russia, or who has received Russian money at any point. @randahl
