Only a small TFR over Fort Hancock at the moment. #aviation
@ai6yr Near Port Isabel TX
@cvvhrn LOl better tell them not wander too close to Fort Hancock
@ai6yr way way too high lol. If they did take a out Reaper at altitude they would need a laser approaching the megawatt class not the current state of the art Apollo which is 150 kw
@ai6yr Close to home as well Vandy is casting a big net

@cvvhrn @ai6yr

Isn’t there an ISS Dragon capsule return tonight? Shortly before midnight?

@Weather_Rock_Wx @cvvhrn Possible, in about an hour and 40 minutes.

SPACEX CRS-33 REENTRY - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA COAST
PRIMARY: 02/27/26 0740Z-1000Z
BACKUP: 03/01/26 0645Z-0915Z

@Weather_Rock_Wx @cvvhrn Interestingly enough, the re-entry location is NOT there... typically it's farther out at sea and off the islands to the south. I don't know where to get that info, however. We can find it, though.
@Weather_Rock_Wx @cvvhrn Hmm, sure a lot of things out there right now. Sally Ride seems possible. There's even a submarine pushing out AIS. I would expect one of the SpaceX ships but I don't see them at first glance.

@ai6yr

hmm… FWIW, this just now:

The Japan Times

@ai6yr @cvvhrn

MSN reported it undocked shortly after noon EST.

Now to decide whether to stay awake to watch for it, and listen for the sonic boom.

@Weather_Rock_Wx @cvvhrn I've got to work in the morning, so... will wake up and look outside if I hear the boom, lol.
