Still looking for people to play with and/or work on let's plays with, but I haven't given up posting screenshots yet! Not like I have anything better to do like actual gardening. ...

Anyway, thankfully this time I did remember to set my spawn and not dig up the bed that was there. The bad news is I died underwater, far off the coast, don't know what killed me, and now I have to figure out how to go retrieve my bones with no supplies or weaponry.

Also I respawned at a quarter health because a spotted rat spawned in this tiny building and is currently chewing on me.

Oh yeah, that 1 damage while you repeatedly kill me! Punching this thing dead took forever.
Alright the rat is dead and I'm ready to go up the coast and recover my... what the hell is that
Pointedly ignoring the sea monster with scythes for arms, I promptly get killed by an ordinary giant rat about 5 feet outside of the house.
I'm at the closest peninsula to my stuff, attempting to fight a bear with my fists when a baby elephant comes to join the fight, with predictable results.
Alright, this time I escaped into the water before the animals could attack. And immediately got killed by the animals in the water.
When you're building a bridge over the ocean to recover your stuff, it's perfectly valid to use your own bones in its construction.
Is this enough dirt??
Luckily I built my ocean bridge high enough that the ogres couldn't reach me.
Just barely enough dirt. Dropping sand to stack up, so I can escape the ocean before dying.
Alright, got my stuff, and it's nighttime already, so the skellingtons will kill me if I don't sleep. Luckily my stuff included a bed, and I found a nice, safe well-lit area to sleep in.
Completely safe.
On the boat again. This time I won't be foolish and get off to gather stuff.

God, this mapgen I hacked together has some crazy terrain.
I see some more coral biome ahead of me. That's not the biome I want though. Coral is way too foggy and rainy. Which to be fair, I inflicted upon myself, but what I'm looking for is cold and dry.
That's a lot of corl. My minimap is showing something promising to the southwest though.
A banana and olive grove is close, but not quite right. Oh hello dergon. These guys are less scary than they look. Decent attack, high hp, ranged attack, but it's pretty easy to put something between you and them, and they lose interest quick. They can also distract other, nastier mobs.
Magic forest, still not ideal... but oh hey is that a settlement?
It is! And they have a big house. Commence looting!
And an iron axe. Awesommme. I can take out these chests easy with that.
Of course I use choppy. Best timber mod in minetest. Doesn't animate trees falling or anything, but it's pretty simple and easy to use, and works good.
And would you look at that. 13 iron ingots. You know what that means!

(Of course you don't. It means I have enough to make a hammer and anvil.)
I see you there mf... waiting to burn me. I need to edit the schematics for these settlements, fix the torch placement, and replace the tiny houses with proper ones.
Oh, incidentally I went through a few handflips to make everness crystal tree wood translucent. So cool looking! Everness is a hot mess of a module though. I still can't figure out how to get certain structures to spawn. The code specifies that they appear during mapgen in... some way, but then it just doesn't happen. So many cool structures, that nobody ever gets to see.
