While your book collection here has interesting sounding titles it isnt an argument, your article says "be marxist leninist" and yet doesn't provide any reasoning that couldn't also apply to "be anarchist" - The examples you give are things anarchists talk about too.

I do agree that we need to move beyond the term leftist its needlessly confusing and is basically a negative definition things we are against rather than what we are for, and as "the left" grows the old factions are reigniting and they are not trivial differences, to paint over them with a broad brush like "anticapitalist" or "leftist" is just insulting to those of us who have deep principled opposition to eachother

@ambiguous_yelp I wans’t trying to argue, I thought we were sharing, so thats what i did, my hope in writing that was to get people to see and hopefully peak their interest in Marxism Leninism as the tool that every revolutionary peoples government currently active demonstrates to varying degrees what a Dictatorship of the Proletariat is capable of.

@ambiguous_yelp I did not know that Anarchists approved of Dictatorships as one of the pieces you sent me clearly says in the title that states are counter revolutionary. A thing can’t be both revolutionary and counterrevolutionary.

Obviously I wasn't talking about that example: China building solar and railways isn't an excuse to censor lgbt stuff or disappear or brutalise political dissidents nor to implement bedtime laws or track everyone's location in real time.

If I'm a perfectionist for not wanting to follow in the footsteps of authoritarians then so be it, I'd rather die.

@ambiguous_yelp well, Trotsky was a useful idiot for fascism(best case) straight up fascist(I believe) his entire life so if your listening to him as a counter argument to Marxism Leninism and the best you can come up with to disenfranchise all of the good works being done today by AES nations then I have to assume you don’t have principle’s at all and are just a wrecker. Out solely to confuse, demoralize, and interfere with people’s liberation. Good luck with that moving forward.

@ambiguous_yelp no I’m a Marxist Leninist understanding what other Marxist Leninists have managed to accomplish underneath a global capitalist umbrella led by pedophiles. I also understand what those self same people will be able to accomplish when we finally defeat the parasites in charge of global capitalism. I’m embarrassed by people who still think they can defeat these monsters without any real power to back them up. My hope is they are still children being seduced by “third way” reformism that will always lead to the same structures of power being in place.

@Wilson6923 I would turn that back at you: that hierarchies of any kind are self sustaining bc every authority needs to justify and maintain itself by any means possible in order to achieve its goals and special interests - this immediately creates a rift between those at the top and those at the bottom, it creates new class divides

@Wilson6923 Yes it has borne out. The ends don't justify the means, just because something hasn't been done doesn't make it impossible. Once marxism leninism was an idea and it battled against the stream to make it a reality, anarchism faces similar and additional cultural and institutional hurdles.

The police for example have job security under a socialist state but have no place in an anarchist society - existing methods of control schools prisons and militaries can continue their function uninterrupted under a "socialist" state

I also wish they would post to PeerTube instead I think that posting to youtube actually hurts anarchism and is another form of ends justify the means thinking
