Red-breasted Nuthatches are back. They've been around my place sporadically, late in the fall and after our major recent snowfalls. These forest birds cache, and remember the location of, thousands of seeds for the winter. I suspect their stashes and general food supply is running low in nearby woody areas, with all this snow, so they're hitting the feeders in adjacent neighborhoods. These little birds (as with other smaller birds like Chickadees) are particularly bold and will take seeds from your hand.
