A story of a miracle:
A #Russian_FPV drone destroyed the car of #Maksym, 22, from #Sloviansk, #Donetsk region. His arm and leg were completely shattered. There was nothing left to save, doctors said.
On February 21, #Maksym was driving his girlfriend home from work. He worked at the post office.
He heard an explosion. Despite losing consciousness, #Maksym managed to get out of the car and saw #Ukrainian_Defenders running toward him to help.
#Maksym was first operated on in #Sloviansk. He underwent high-level amputations of his arm and leg. He was then transferred to #Dnipro with a fragment lodged near his heart. Doctors at the cardiology center removed the shrapnel to save his life.
To save #Maksym, more than six liters of blood products were transfused at #Mechnikov Hospital.
Now #Maksym is fighting for his life. Thankfully, his condition is no longer critical and is stable.
