Can anyone recommend a good place to look for sofas? Looking for something that's a good step up in quality from the mass market stuff like DFS, but ideally without spending an absolute fortune

Had a look at "Sofas & Stuff" the other day, and their sofas look lovely, but they are f***ing expensive.

Wondering if there's a sweet spot somewhere in the middle or if you really do have to pay those sorts of prices for good quality?

@statsguy Is there Sofology (Sofologie?) near you? We used a couple of local companies as opposed to the likes if DFS and such like.

@statsguy Their stuff looks ok, but we ended up buying better from a local shop in Elgin. (Grampian Furnishings). It was down to what MrsD fancied in the end!

Our old sofa and chairs was 27 years old when we replaced it. Bought at the Co-op in Bradford. Survived three house moves!

@statsguy On recommendation by friends we got ours from SofaSofa, based in South Wales. We have been very happy with them.

@ApAlun Thanks! Sounds like that could be an excellent excuse to combine a trip to their showroom with a weekend walking in the Brecon Beacons
