After Ella, I headed down to the southern beaches of #SriLanka and spent a few days in Mirissa and Unawatuna.

I really liked #Mirissa. It felt more relaxed and almost family-like. Warm water, palm trees leaning over the sand, comfortable and not overwhelming. #silkroad

#Weligama is close by, known as the surfers’ beach (I didn’t go this time), but it’s easy to combine.
