I dare say HP used to make some decent stuff. I've had that laptop since 2006 when I started my first business. It's survived countless flights and data centre visits. It even helped keep the BBC's phones running during the 2010 general election (monitoring the servers).

Absolutely rock solid.

Now it's helping me make music :)

@RavenLuni My only experience with HP laptops been an HP Pavillion something bought in PC World around 200x something can't remember the year .. and it's been a VERY BAD experience 😡 Battery went to shit pretty soon, laptop overall been quite slow/booting times AGES overall not a good experience. The ONLY laptop I'd describe 'like yours' was an IBM ThinkPad 1400 of even more years ago but no if there's one brand I'd avoid like pest is HP .. how strange different experiences we had ??! 😐

@gilesgoat Oh I wouldnt recommend HP now especially with all the DRM crap they're pulling - just remembering you could actually get good stuff in the past.
