Trump says he has lifted 2.4 million off of food stamps. In reality, Trump has introduced requirements which many do not meet, thereby denying food stamps to those in need.
Trump also claims that his tariffs are saving the US and will continue, all applause stops, and the camera cuts to Chief Justice Roberts who looks worried (picture 2).

Preparing for his planned midterm narrative, Trump uses the speech to claim that Democrats can only win in November by cheating.
Obviously, recents polls show, Democrats will be winning because most voters dislike Trump, which has nothing to do with cheating.

Trump claims that murders in Washington D. C. has declined close to 100 percent, meaning there are virtually no murders.

Talking about US Navy attacks on suspected drug boats, Trump jokes that Venezuela's fishing industry is now damaged because no one wants to go fishing, because he murders sailors.
Trump's illegal orders to attack these boats have cost the lives of 151 people so far.

Immediately after presenting the Congressional Medal of Honor to military veteran Royce Williams, Trump proceeds to say that he really wanted that medal, but was not allowed to give it to himself.
The speech ended without presenting any new political ideas. It was around 80 percent self-praise and 20 percent repetition of known political positions.
Nevertheless, Trump succeeded in seeming unphased by his mounting problems, and he spoke clearer and more coherently than he has done in other recent speeches.
