Robin FrostThis message is for any of my #Blind friends who participate in trying to maintain or improve #Accessibility for #Google products and services. Could you kindly let them know that the keypad in their #GoogleVoice app for #iOS is completely unusable currently? I.E. when using #VoiceOver you can't manually enter a phone number which makes it hard to call someone who isn't already a contact.
I'm so glad I didn't port one of my phone numbers over to Google Voice. Dodged the proverbial bullet on that one.

@robini71 Can you use Serie to dial, or voice control to click, as a (admittedly terrible) temporary work around?
@bmmcginty I suppose I could try, but I don’t know if Siri will obey the command to use Google Voice
D.Hamlin.Music@robini71 oh you don't port a number to it, you just get a new number for just it, my 609 number is free and just through it. Also it may be like the Google phone app on android that typing the number into the search field can start a call.
@dhamlinmusic You can in fact port a number over to it once you have an established free number with them. And, I don’t know how that edit field works because it never stayed present long enough for me to find out. It simply starts populating with available contact instead of simply letting you manually input a number that may in fact not be in your contacts.
@robini71 I'll check that later on my end as it seems to work the same on android and windows so my guess is it's just an electron thing and iOS will be the same.

@ppatel OK friend, I have submitted polite, concise, and detailed feedback describing the issue at hand. Once the feedback was submitted, I was not furnished with any kind of ticket number to which I could refer, but I can assure you feedback has been submitted by me from within the Google Voice app.
@robini71 Ya. They don't provide tickets to outsiders. But, I'll talk to someone tomorrow to make sure that they have it flagged. Thanks for doing that.

@robini71 @ppatel This has always been the case. As a temporary workaround, when moving around the keypad, do not move your fingers above it to where the potential matches are, as the keypad will then disappear.
