What is the single most ANNOYING thing you hear from customers/clients in your job, whatever that job might be? Like, the most repeated unfunny joke or complaint or whatever.

Let's hear 'em (so we don't repeat 'em!)

@ChrisJagged "I would take care of the monster myself, you know, but I'm just so busy."

#WizardLife

@Klepsis

I mean, I WOULD, but I don't have the fancy crooked hat.

@ChrisJagged It takes more than a funky hat to deal with nuisance monsters.

You also need an indifferent cat.

@ChrisJagged All of mine would doxx where I work, but let's just say hyperbole is strong with people who visit
@ChrisJagged "it's funny I am hiring you when I can do 4k video on my phone" (or some variation)
@ChrisJagged see also: "haha can I just hire you to teach me to use the video on my phone myself so I dont have to call you each time?"

@Trenton_Hoshiko

So basically 'how can I get around paying you'?

@ChrisJagged essentially so, unfortunately with the added cherry on top of insulting the skills it takes to make videos haha

@ChrisJagged

“But why would someone DO that??”

@Lemniscate what's that in reference to?

@ChrisJagged I work in information security and a lot of my time during that has been spent working with developers on secure development and design. Many people struggle with considering security measures in software because they can’t imagine doing the things that malicious actors do. So we’ll say, hey we need to consider this or that risk and defend against it and some developers/product owners/etc are pretty flabbergasted that someone would even try to attack whatever it is.

And we did a lot of financial related software, so it was absolutely something we had to worry about.
