Anti-fascism is always relevant, and probably always will be. Some form of fascism or feudalism seems to be the default state for human societies. That is, they seem to return to that state if they aren't actively being steered away. Each step towards it seems reasonable to most people. Of course you need to be tough on crime, being weak on crime would be silly. Constant surveillance makes everyone safer. "Those people" are making things worse. Etc.

I don't think it's been the default state, just that it's the only one we're used too.
Humans as we currently exist have been around for about 260,000 years... Patriarchal human societies, only around 10,000.
It's clear what needs to be done.
@Anomnomnomaly @ColesStreetPothole @arazil @startrek it's the default state for human civilization, then, once laws became codified. By "default" I mean that it is the state it returns to, should no action be taken to make it something else.
