Honestly, when I look at the state of football now, I think Man City and Newcastle are the enemy: not football clubs at all, but the financially doped PR arms of human-rights-abusing nation states. Compared with them, Man United, Arsenal and indeed Everton are all allies.

But truthfully, while our rivalry with Man U, and the "hatred" associated with it, was always basically about sport, it does feel to me that the Oil Money Invasion has fundamentally changed the equation. I detest it with a burning white-hot flame.
