Oh, forgot to post my Sunday ride!

I woke up at 8.30, decided to turn around just for _one_ minute, woke up again at 11, then decided that with the kids at mine, it was too late for a ride. Rats.

They left at 6, so I took the eeb and left, too.
It was pretty dark when I arrived at the bottom of the Blauen.

... but that orange triangle was weird?

It was a huge fire in Ettingen! Like some traditional fire. Really pretty big!

I took my usual way up.

There are plenty of occasions to turn around or go back down on the way up, and I was wondering whether I'd find it too dark, but in the end, I just continued up.

The phone has a "Night Light" feature, where it just collects more light. Not bad, tbh.

I had not taken my MTB lights, and so I rode with the built-in headlights. Not too bright, but OK-ish.

I continued on the South side towards Challpass and sat for a moment on the benches above Dittingen where the view is good.

I continued over Challpass and all the way to the bench that is close to Dremel. It was dark!

I then went down to Burg through the woods, which was slightly sketchy (darkness & mud in places). Then I rode back through Rodersdorf, Leymen, and Flüh. There was almost nobody else around, so I went fast. Very cool!

At home, I saw how muddy it had been on the way down...

I'm super glad I managed to motivate myself and go out! 38km, ~800m ascent, just under 2hrs, totally worth it!
