When I was young I didn't really like #BroadBeans they seemed to have a rather unpleasant aftertaste apart from their skins being tough. Now I #growmyown, Super Aquadulce and they are perfect - can't get enough of them. Is it me that's changed or did we grow awful varieties 40 years ago? #allotment #growyourown

@edintone A lot of the varieties are still the same as then. Our tastes do change over time but I’ve always loved broad beans. I know people who can’t stand them.
