@me Amazing app. Even works across the internet. Very slightly higher learning curve initially but once you understand the basics it’s magic and stable as hell.

Synctrain is a surprisingly good iPhone client for it. Credits to @emory for introducing me to that.

@dhry @emory

Didn't know that Synctrain was even a thing. Until recently.

How does it compare to Möbius Sync?

Should #Synctrain now be considered the preferred #Syncthing app on #iPhone?

@me @emory I would. Mobius is what I used before but because of the way IPhone works (meaning “does not work” with background apps of this nature), over time mobius would just stop working and then as soon as you opened the actual app it would start working again. Synctrain just seems to be stabler and works better/continuously with my testing
@me @dhry personally i am disinterested in trying anything else.

@emory @dhry

It really does sound like #Synctrain for #iOS is the real deal.

I am happy for all the iPhones!

@me @emory Indeed. There are some things the iPhone really fails at doing well - background apps of this nature are one of them, unless you use iCloud syncing - but this one appears to hook into things pretty solidly and it's free.
