Today I wrote about the Male Loneliness Epidemic, and the ways that a cult(ure) of abuse leads so many to seek paths of healing solely on behalf of abusers, and doing so not by building paths of universal liberation, but by repairing paths of domination.

@JuliusGoat Just a few days ago I stumbled upon an outreach paper by a prestigious UK University describing fieldwork in which they measured in what measure young men were lonely and what they think society/women should do against that. All solutions revolved around "Make women more economically and legally dependent again". The conclusions were definitely not along the lines of "What should we do as a society to make young men less of sexist arseholes" and more "poor sods, let's listen to them"

@JuliusGoat it's the #StockholmSyndrome & #TraumaBonding.

i study crim/psy & i am discovering through my own experiences that capitalism & hierarchy in society are fundamentally narcissistic & drive toxic behaviour in ppl. men have been conditioned to suppress their emotions which causes all sorts of toxic behaviour to themselves & others & the same for women.
most ppl become traumatised one way or another & toxic behaviour gets passed down the generations.
we all need rehabilitation.
