@richlv This is for a community orchard where the tree cages come off once a year for maintenance.

If it was a fence or a permanent fixture, then staples would be cheaper, yes.

@brunogirin Yes. The community orchard I visited in Manchester only has fifteen trees, so their priorities are little different.
