@Geri thanks for the list, I made a brief attempt to look who was on it earlier today but gave up. I started thinking drop the bottom four then remembered they are all independently wealthy. Drop them all!

@Geri This is again an indication that the problem is not "having a royal as head of state", but the way the UK has set it up and maintains it.

I've looked at the situation in NL: Only King, Queen, and the first-in-line get an income from public money for their public duties, the king some 12m euro. The others don't.

Also, they don't pay income tax (which is under discussion) and inheritance tax, but do pay all other taxes (and NL has a tax on wealth, unlike the UK).
