Did people already decided which network would be a good Discord alternative?

Will it be Matrix, XMPP or something else?

Whatever it will be, I hope it won't be another proprietary, business owned, closed network.

@finn there's been ALOT more matrix homeservers appearing in the federation, a big increase from the average growth of new servers on average

@haise Oh that's great! Matrix is more than matrix.org and it looks like people are realizing it has some potential.
