I really enjoy a lot of music from TX2, even if a lot of it is over the top and gets kind of corny (sometimes that’s the point!) or I’m-14-and-this-is-deep. But I do respect his perspective here.

I really like The Resistance (it’s about a man in power whose involvement in horrific crimes is being actively covered up by the ruling class!), BUT also the album’s whole vampire theme gets a bit close thematically to blood libel and idk how to feel about that. Like I 100% don’t believe that’s the intent, but it feels a bit… icky and maybe just uninformed? 😬
