@ericsfraga I think the "WHEN CONVENIENT TO DO SO" bit of the sign has fallen off the bottom.

@SpudULike But also that there is only one footway and it's the one we're on...

I guess they had a spare sign that would usually be used on some carriageway with a footway next to it and they figured they'd use it even when it makes no sense.
