White crow

A rare leucistic Eurasian crow spotted in Diyarbakır province, Turkey. Leucism is a genetic condition that causes partial or complete loss of pigment in a bird’s feathers while preserving its normal eye colour.

Beautiful find. Leucism shows up in pigeons too. Some of the most striking city pigeons are pure white or patchy because of it, not because they are different species. Nature loves variation.
