I want to be happy with #PenFed since I've recently switched there and spend time and effort switching over all my recurring payments, but they seem to be doing their best to piss me off.
* My old card had a $25k credit limit; my PenFed limit is only $10k. They refuse to raise it and claim they haven't raised anyone's credit limit in years. $10k isn't high enough to make it through a billing cycle without maxing out the card. This sucks.

* I submitted a credit card payment to #PenFed three days ago. Two days later the card was declined due to no available credit. I asked why and they said they had "put the payment on float" because it was "larger than [my] usual payment" and I needed to submit a screenshot showing that the payment had cleared my bank to get it released. I submitted the screenshot and many hours later they rejected it, claiming the proof was "insufficient", without telling me what would be. (2/3)
This morning the payment still hasn't been applied to my #PenFed credit card account, three days after it was submitted, i.e., two days after it reached them. They have my money but won't let me use my credit card.
I have been using credit cards for 37 years and this has never happened to be before, not a single time. This is some serious bullshit. (3/3)
