Yes I do use linux for music production :
Distro : Manjaro XFCE
Daw : Reaper, Alsa mode for midi controllers low latency
Plugins :
Reaper sampler

Haven't been convinced by other plugins yet.

I tried Cardinal and it is really powerful, but too CPU intensive for my old laptop. And I don't plan to upgrade :)
