Lots of foods and everyday items have carcinogens in them. The key phrase here is 'the dose makes the poison'. Not only that, but you're not eating your headphones. They claim there's a risk of absorption - with what proof?? None. No immediate health risk but they're concerned about the kids. This has all the hallmarks of a PR campaign and not science.
But thank you for sharing this, it's really interesting and a great case study for being skeptical of health news claims!

The harmful effects of Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical compound primarily used in the manufacturing of various plastics, have been known for quite some time and researched extensively in numerous studies.
I really prefer a debate based on facts and figures not on 'feelings' and conspiracy, so let's leave it at that. 🙏
@Luminous_J that's because it when it's used in bottles it's in frequent contact with water, which is consumed. Not so with headphones, which also have an added layer in between the base metal+plastic and your ear.
Where are their facts and figures? There are none in these reports. I'm not talking about feelings, why are you?
