@TinJar there are anthropological examples of societies where women were viewed much differently than they are in common society today and women had much more power, were the ones who decided who they would mate with and when they were done with the male of species. Cultures where only the mother's bloodline and name mattered because who knew for sure who the father was anyway? There are also some fictional stories where men stop existing for a time, and I have to admit I enjoyed the idea.

We need a lot more literature - both fiction and nonfiction - about this. The current backlash has to be countered with positive narratives about both history and future.
