Shark caught on camera for first time in Antarctica's frigid waters | CBC News

The camera operated by the Minderoo-UWA Deep-Sea Research Centre, which investigates life in the deepest parts of the world's oceans, was positioned off the South Shetland Islands near the Antarctic Peninsula.

@EdwinG In the image, the shark is neither ON the camera , nor has been captured 😉

I can understand "caught red handed stealing cookies", but can't see anyone catching a shark sitting on a camera 🙂

I guess it comes from ability to capture a fleeting moment on film. (or in more modern times, capturing a fleeting moment on an SD card)
