@alexandra oh yes or anywhere else really, I have an almost lifelong fatwa against everything plastic  but for some things wooden boards are not a good solution... I am now looking for thin metal or glass boards

@Heliograph I have a variety of chopping boards and utensil, and not a plastic one amongst them. All retired years ago.

@Heliograph All my plastics went to the local charity shop. Thought it best to recycle.
