This a local Indivisible event hosted by Flathead Democracy. On September 15, 2025 at the Whitefish Border Patrol building, Leanette Galaz, Colton Little, and Aggie Putnam were arrested by the Whitefish Police Department during a protest against the detainment of Luisa and Fergie, a mom and her 17 year old daughter. Next Wednesday, Feb 18 at 9:30 am, Leanette, Colton and Aggie will have their Plea Deal Hearing at the Whitefish Courthouse (police station building) and afterwards, we will go to Baker Park in Whitefish for a Press conference and Q&A. This will be an opportunity to tell the story of the choices we made and why, and what really happened that morning. Please join us at our hearing and at the press conference afterward at Baker Park to offer your support and help raise awareness for the horrific human and civil rights violations of DHS, CBP, and ICE during detention actions and in the ICE detention centers across the country! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
