Like I understand that not every #FLOSS project has money and resources to #SelfHost suff, but solutions like #MkDocs-Material, #GitHubPages / #CodebergPages / #GitlabPages exist which turn simple #Markdown into accessible, searchable and nice to look at #Websites!
- I myself use it all the time cuz I suck at #Webdesign and "leeching" #Microsoft for 'free, unlimited & #DDoS-proof #Webhosting' is just fair…

Different tools are good for different tasks:

Just because one can use #Photoshop as a #GameEngine doesn't mean it's a good idea to do so!
And if we consider time valuable, then it's better to have some goddamn INSTALL.txt file and actual bug/issue tracker than have 200+ people daily ask THE SAME QUESTION…

It's a great way of decentralization A forum is easy to use, easy to maintain, easy to migrate, searchable and platform independent. RT communications are way better when people are actually present, this does not require "push notifications" (we all have and ignore way to many of those). Voice communication is never "all the time" and can easily be done via ventrillo, teamspeak, jitsi whatever you flavor is.
