Fredrik RubenssonI started the slow three day journey back home from Glasgow with the 9:13 from Bellgrove to Edinburgh. Then another train to Newcastle in order to catch the night ferry to Amsterdam. I could reach the Travemunde-Malmö ferry in one day but I opted for a night in Hannover instead. Arriving in Stockholm after lunch on Saturday.
Convenient shuttle bus from the ferry terminal to Amsterdam Centraal. Arrived with almost an hour to spare before the 12 o'clock towards Berlin. I'm getting off at Hanover.
After some 23 hours in #hannover I'm now heading towards the Travemunde-Malmø ferry. Changes of trains in Hamburg and Lübeck coming up. Not the most convenient leg tbh. And with a final leg tomorrow from Malmö to Stockholm this #interrail trip will come to an end.
Getting it right in Travemünde was not the easiest thing. There is a tran station called Travemnünde-Skandinavienkai. Same name as the ferry terminal so I naturally thought to get off there. However while on the train when they announced the previous station Lübeck-Kücknitz they also advised to get off and get on the shuttle bus from there. It turns out that this is local bus number 50 coming in from Lübeck. I had to ask around to find it. It does not depart from the closest bus station. It is probably easier to just get on it in Lübeck.

@interrailinfosvenska snyggt! Har inget att tillägga. Fick åka gratis på bussen så vet ej hur det går till. Väl på terminalen fär man checka in och sen gå ner en trappa och vänta på "shuttle bus" som kör ombord på båten. (Sen tvärtom - när man ska av får man vänta i receptionen.) Samma hantering i Malmö fast där är det en väldigt liten terminalbyggnad. Och bara #finnlines som går. I Malmö är det inte så kul - två bussar till stationen som bara går varje timme. Idag tog jag taxi för att hinna med lämpligt tåg.
