It is my 3-year cancerversary this week, so it is also time for my annual post:

💉 The HPV vaccine (gardasil) prevents the throat cancer I had, as well as many other cancers
💉 You can get it up to age 45 (although in the US your insurance may not cover it ☹️)
💉 Your kids (of all genders) should absolutely get it (insurance in the US should cover it 🙂)

I was too old for the vaccine but it would have saved me SOOooo much misery and expense if I had been able to get it.
