@joncounts Wow. That's *brutal.* Up there with watch for wind blowing items or tree limbs at you.
I had the extremely rare *calm winds* this morning. The flags at the 5 mile mark were totally limp and no, we haven't had rain in ages. Yes, it was one of my faster commutes even with slow intersection approaches to time the lights...

@geonz Calm, you say? Mmm, good. Wind is the big thing that influences my bike commute. I can use the right clothing to handle temperature and rain.

Some low strung recumbent bike would be great on windy days but then it would also be dangerously invisible to car traffic.
