The European Court of Auditors (ECA) was made a full EU institution by the TEU, under Article 13 TEU, and Articles 285-287 TFEU. As the name suggests, it audits the expenditure of the other institutions for legality and sound financial management.

Ich habe den Account auch erst gestern bemerkt. 💜 Schnell nachgeschaut ob er auch offiziell ist (ist er) und sichergestellt das die EU Kommission ihm auch folgt.
Jetzt hoffe ich, dass wir ein paar mehr follower generieren koennen. 😉

@hpod16 @EUauditors warum is der Account nicht auf der Instanz von der EU (ec.social-network.europa.eu)? Wäre doch viel sinnvoller.

Because technically, the Court of Auditors is it's own EU institution, and the account you name is just for the European Commission.
But I agree, one official instance for all EU Institutions would be nice.
